Hebrew Lessons
For boys and girls between 8 and 14 years
Ulpan Teens is the area of our Ulpan Mahir for our kids and works as a cheider.
How are the courses for kids going?
⇒ The courses are divided by age.
⇒ We work in individual lessons and in small groups of no more than 4 students per course.
⇒ Teacher assigned speaks native the language of the student.
⇒ The courses are divided into 2 correlative blocks of 5 months each one.
⇒ Each block has a charge time of 2 hours / lesson per week.
Like our classes for adults, this courses are taught in our e-learning platform where our morim give live classes via video conference. We also work on didactical materials inside the platform. We recommend to read the section 'Method'.
Parents who want to visit our classroom before enrolling their children, can schedule a tour inside the virtual environment, in hand with one of our teachers.
Bar Mitzvah
The Bar Mitzvah is one of the most important events of Jewish life.
Indeed, from the 13 years the boys (and 12 girls), enter the adultes Jewish life, a new world of opportunities and responsibilities.
Therefore Bar Mitzvah is not just something you do ..It's something you are!
In our Ulpan we have a specific program to accompany the kids who are ready for their Bar Mitzvah, and to their families.
In the Bnei Mitzvah Program, we prepare children to read the Torah and it includes:
• The Parshah (Torah portion) that they will have to read in this great day.
• The Tefilah (prayer)
• The Brachot (blessings).
We also teach them about the meaning of the Bar Mitzvah and each one of the topics that will be studied.
School Support
This area of the Ulpan is for kids who already attend a Jewish school.
Many times we see that our children have some difficulties or are far behind the course contents at their school.
In our Ulpan know that every child is unique, and as such has his/her own way in the learning process.
Sometimes they only need a few full-time and individual lessons in han with a teacher that update their and attend their knowledges.
In the Online Ulpan we have teachers for Hebrew and Jewish Studies area, specializing in children and adolescents for this purpose.
Our classes are tought by morot (teachers) with domain on the Hebrew Language, of course, but in additionthey speak English, Spanish or French, according to the mother tongue of the child.
